411. Create a bowl, following these instructions:
Blow up balloon and place tied end in a cup to hold balloon upright. Spread Vaseline over top half of balloon. Then spread paste (2 parts water to 1 part flour and 2 tbsp. of salt) over that and cover paste with layer of any recycle paper. ex. newspaper, gum wrappers, comics. Do about 6 layers of paste and paper, then leave to dry. When dry take out balloon and trim rough edges. Make a base for bowl by cutting a strip of cardboard and taping it to the bottom. Then cover with paste and paper a couple of times and let dry. Paint and decorate if you like!

Entry rules
1. Theme: “Promoting your Fair”
2. Must be hand drawn.
3. Poster size: Minimum-8½” x 11” (23cm x 28 cm) Maximum-12”x 18” (30.5 x 46cm)
4. Each entry must be mounted on a Black art Card to give a 2” border.
5. Name of fair, *district 1, *contact person-[Anne Caza, 613-989-5348], owner of poster and school, to be clearly labelled on the back of each entry.
Judging Standards
1. Overall Appearance – 20 points
2. Attract and hold attention – 30 points
3. Competition theme clear – 40 points
4. Quality materials/end product – 10 points
