The 4-H program is a community organization for young people between the ages of 10 and 21 years old. The Primary purpose of the 4-H program is the development of youth in Ontario. Members are encouraged to develop their self-confidence and leadership skills while having fun. 4-H Ontario Vision will be recognized for delivering quality, innovative and sustainable leadership and life skill programs for youth and volunteers; which benefit the citizens and communities in which the live.
The Dundas County 4-H Association anticipates that the exhibits of the 4-H members in Dundas County at this Achievement Program will fulfill the 4-H Motto of "Learning to Do by Doing." At South Mountain Fair, the 4-H members will be exhibiting their 4-H projects from all aspects of the 4-H Program in Dundas County.
You can visit the Dundas County 4-H Achievement Projects in the Exhibit Hall where you can view items from the Lifeskills and Field Crops throughout the fair. On Saturday, the 4-H Dairy Achievement Program will commence at noon, while the Sunday 4-H Beef Achievement Program will commence at noon, just prior to the Simmental and Angus Beef Show.

Back by popular demand this year is the open invitation to set up a display showing Agriculture at its best. Please contact the Chairperson for further details and Prize Money values.
Spectators to the 4-H Dairy Show in the morning and the Agricultural Displays in the afternoon are welcome to browse the cattle barn and enjoy the rural displays, livestock tie ups and educational components of the agriculture awareness based barn!
